挪威加强对部分进口物品的监管
The Vietnam Trade Office in Sweden, concurrently in Northern Europe, informs Vietnamese exporters about some new import policies of the Norwegian market for reference.
1. Norway supervises illegal import of plant protection drug active ingredients
In 2023, the Norwegian Food Safety Authority will coordinate with the Norwegian Customs Service to supervise businesses and individuals that import chemicals for use as pesticides.
In Norway, only registered importers can import approved pesticides (commercial preparations). However, the Norwegian Food Safety Authority suspects that there is an illegal import of active ingredients to make pesticides in Norway. Such an import is a serious violation of the regulations. Various forms of monitoring of suspicious import shipments will be established.
2. Norway inspects and supervises business activities, imports, manufactures and sells cosmetic products
In 2023, the Norwegian Food Safety Authority will conduct an inspection of business activities that manufacture and/or sell cosmetic products, body care products in the Norwegian market to check whether Are businesses following the requirements of cosmetic regulations – including product claims rules.
- Regulations related to cosmetics include:
+ Body care products and cosmetics are regulated by the Cosmetics Act and cosmetic regulations;
+ EU Regulation No 655/2013 concerning the requirements for the use of claims on cosmetic products;
Technical document for cosmetic claims, providing examples of best practices for using the general criteria in Regulation (EU) 655/2013.
